Frontend Architect / Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for skilled Frontend Architects or Senior Frontend Developers who are keen on building amazing tools and state-of-the-art solutions. In this role you will be working partially on-site with the team of solution architects and assume the following key responsibilities:

  • Engage as hands-on Frontend Architect / Senior Frontend Developer in innovative IT projects for external customers
  • Create functional and technical concepts for scalable, reliable, and secure web applications by utilizing established and state-of-the-art software design patterns
  • Design and development of modern frontend solutions for external client projects
  • Implement proof of concepts and conduct technology evaluations
  • Conceptual design and engineering of solution components for the Piral Cloud Services
  • Code contribution and community support for the open-source framework Piral
  • Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the company

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in computer science, natural science or similar subject and offers skills and qualifications in the following areas:

  • At least 3 years of IT experience as frontend architect / senior frontend developer
  • Professional experience in creating architecture concepts and implementing modern and secure frontend solutions
  • Profound technical skills in realizing solutions based on React, Redux, node.js, TypeScript / JavaScript
  • Knowledge of modern web frontend technologies (e.g. Webpack, Parcel, ...)
  • Familiar with modern and commonly used software design and architectural patterns like micro frontends
  • Skills in designing and developing backend services for frontend solutions
  • Practical knowledge in realizing technical proof of concepts and technology evaluations

  • Willing to travel (40-60%) and work at different locations including customer site and home office

  • Work experience in developing well-defined and structured backend APIs
  • Knowledge of cloud services based on Microsoft Azure
  • Real-life know-how in the areas of database systems and writing efficient queries
