About Us
smapiot is a young company specialized in delivering IT solutions and services for the emerging space of digital transformation and IoT. smapiot was founded in 2014 and is located in the east of Munich.
With our senior team we can rely on over 20 years of experience in developing system architecture concepts and engineering software solutions. With the focus on high quality and reliability, we provide professional consulting services in a broad range of functional areas including security and identity management solutions, innovative web applications and IoT platforms.
Alongside expanding our consulting business, we are investing in the development and operation of our own services on the foundation of Piral, an open source framework which we have developed for building highly modular micro frontend applications.

Social commitment
At smapiot, not only do we care about our employees and customers, we also want to contribute to the welfare of the society we are living in.
The Aktion Mensch e.V. is a German social organization which supports inclusion, in other words the social togetherness of people with and without disabilities. With the income of its social lottery Aktion Mensch supports nearly 1.000 projects per month. The following video highlights some of those. By giving lottery tickets to our employees, we are proud to contribute to the efforts of improving the living conditions of disabled people, children and young people.
We have also chosen to support the Sonnenstern e.V. with a monthly donation. This local nonprofit organization in the South-East of Munich engages in a number of projects helping and supporting elderly people and children in need. For more information please visit: www.sonnenstern.de
